Affiliate tax one step closer to reality in CO

The Colorado House Finance Committee has passed language for an affiliate tax as part of HB 1193 by a 6-5 vote and with only a slight amendment, mostly in reference to appropriation. The bill isn’t law yet but if ratified could be in effect as soon as March 1, 2010.
