Director of Social Media

The open position we seek to fill is for National Director of Social Media. You will work with the Director of Marketing to create added value to our full-service Internet marketing clients through brand development and campaign management on social media sites. Ideal candidate will have management-level experience and proven record of leadership and results with a minimum of five years experience in performance-based Internet marketing. Successful candidate will have strong understanding of social media, including top social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn, Ning, Twitter and YouTube. The National Director of Social Media will guide and inform the development, strategy and implementation of our Social Media Marketing services. This position is critical to the future of this full-service Internet marketing agency.

**MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF FIVE PLUS YEARS AFFILIATE, INTERACTIVE, MARKETING OR ADVERTISING AGENCY EXPERIENCE**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage team of social media specialists
2. Develop ongoing strategies for social media services
3. Represent agency at social media trade show events
4. Communicate value proposition to current and future clients

SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Working knowledge of all major internet marketing strategies: SEO, SEM, e-mail, conversion optimization, site useability, site analytics and top e-commerce useability principles
2. Excellent interpersonal communication skills including the ability to make presentations
3. A proven, demonstrable track record of success in business development and sales management
4. Proven experience writing strategy proposals
5. Self motivated, detail oriented
6. Assertive, and collaborative: self starter, quick thinker
7. Excellent verbal and written skills
8. Proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel
9. Great attitude
10. Must be a team player
11. Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience
