The open position we seek to fill is for Social Media Media Buyer. You will create media buying and advertising strategies specific to social media sites. Strategies will then be presented to clients and refined and implemented once approved. Attention must be paid to acquisition costs and budget allocations.

Ideal candidate will have minimum two years experience in performance-based Internet marketing. Successful candidate will have strong understanding of social media, including top social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn, Ning, Twitter and YouTube.

The Social Media Media Buyer will will assist the Social Media Operations Manager in providing all of the services and support necessary to achieve measurable results for our clients.

**MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 2 PLUS YEARS AFFILIATE, INTERACTIVE, MARKETING OR ADVERTISING AGENCY EXPERIENCE**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Devise media ad buying strategies
2. Present options to clients for approval
3. Implement and track media buying plan
4. Report performance milestones to client

SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Working knowledge of all major internet marketing strategies: SEO, SEM, e-mail, conversion optimization, site useability, site analytics and top e-commerce useability principles
2. Excellent interpersonal communication skills including the ability to make presentations
3. A proven, demonstrable track record of success in business development and sales management
4. Proven experience writing strategy proposals
5. Self motivated, detail oriented
6. Assertive, and collaborative: self starter, quick thinker
7. Excellent verbal and written skills
8. Proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel
9. Great attitude
10. Must be a team player
11. Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience
