Affiliate Director Position Open Immediately
We have an exciting opportunity for an Affiliate Strategist, which is a Director level position, that supervises the affiliate manager and interacts with clients at top management level, (CEO & VPs). The qualified person for this position will have 3 - 5 years experience managing major brands, especially Top 300 e-tailer/catalog Affiliate programs. Strategy experience including high level campaign design and reporting, deep stats analysis, understanding and running an affiliate program with complex relationships between search, media and company goals. Fat rolodex of large affiliate partners, deal negotiating, activation campaign management, goal oriented Affiliate Management, etc. Experience with Commission Junction and/or Linkshare required, DirectTrack, BeFree and other tracking systems an added plus.
The Affiliate Program Director is responsible for the overall performance of the client's affiliate program. They will be the main contact for our clients and will lead all major strategizing and promotions. All weekly meetings and major interaction with clients and top affiliates will be done by the Affiliate Program Director with all daily management duties and weekly reporting, affiliate communications and ongoing tasks being performed by the Affiliate Manager.
Daily Tasks:
- Client interaction
- Weekly meetings with clients
- Development of Strategies to improve success
- Promotions Development, contests, bonuses
- Present creative and competitive analysis to client
- Contact Super affiliates, recruitment and placement
- Identify groups to target for recruitment
- Suggest new creative and identify opportunities in this area for improvement
- Monthly status report - presentation to client.
- Interface with recruiting team
- Identify problems or new competitive challenges
- Direct and guide Affiliate Manager in their duties and responsibilities
- Remain Accessible to client and affiliates
- Establish Measurable Goals for client and provide detailed reporting on results of all initiatives
- Suggest Changes to program and structure

Affiliate Manager Position
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced affiliate manager that has at least 2 years experience managing a Commission Junction program and is also familiar with managing either Linkshare, BeFree DirectTrack or MyAffiliateProgram programs.
The Affiliate Manager is responsible for executing the strategies and plans developed by the Affiliate Program Director. Their major goals are to support the Affiliate Program Director in daily tasks as well as overall execution of plans to ensure a successful affiliate program.
Daily Tasks:
- Weekly Report Generation - put together all numbers and format for the weekly report.
- Affiliate Approvals
- Answering Affiliate Emails
- Newsletter Development and Sending on an as needed basis. (minimum monthly)
- Analysis
- Collaboration and Execution of affiliate promotions and strategies
- When reporting or sales problems are identified, provide analysis to solve problems
- Keep affiliate program visible on message boards and directories.
- Stay in phone contact with top affiliates.
- Make regular phone calls to poor performers or inactive affiliates to encourage participation.
- Send recruitment letters to top affiliates
- Coupon development and coordination
- Provide support material for monthly reports
- Interface with recruiting team on a weekly basis. Phone top affiliates identified by recruiting team.
- Provide supporting analysis to Affiliate Program Director to evaluate current affiliates performance
- Monitor forum and reply
- Prepare activation campaigns.
